Beyond the mind

Welcome to Beyond the mind: A collection of unique beings, curiosities, and visions of other realities.

This collection is about what can happen when we let ourselves express oddness and unfamiliar things that we feel a connection with, but that don’t necessarily make sense to our logical minds.

In painting this collection I kept coming back to these funny creatures and letting myself paint them as a natural expression of my creativity.  I feel somehow that they come from a different dimension that in some way I know very well.

I also loved the freedom and playfulness of experimenting with unexpected colour combinations.

Synchronicities

The series is called Synchronicities and explores the theme of human connection & beings from other realities that come through my meditations and visions.

I love the idea of sharing the unusual and the unexpected, and hope it speaks to you!

We’re all doing our best

The show is called “We’re all doing our best”. The pieces come from my imagination and spring from periods of self-reflection.

The common themes are connection and hope. In moments when I struggle to feel connected with others, art gives me that feeling. I can look at a piece and feel reassured, complete, inspired.

I do hope this art brings some inspiration to our times. My sense is that art, broadly, has the power to bring us back to our own hearts.

Atomic Rooster

Come for the local art, stay for the friendly atmosphere and made-from-scratch food! Atomic Rooster holds a special place in my heart because it’s where I sold my first piece of art. I have new art available at AR every month or so.
